Opening an eBay Store is a must for any serious eBay Seller. 75% of eBay Stores sellers surveyed said opening an eBay Store increased their sales. How does opening an eBay Store increase your sales? eBay Stores provides powerful tools to build, manage, promote and track your business. Take your sales to the next level with these built-in benefits of an eBay Store. With an eBay Store, you receive the ability to send marketing emails to those buyers who subscribe to your newsletter. Your Store serves as the focal point of your eBay selling, in that it is the landing pad for customers coming in from outside of eBay. Your Store is a place where you can list your entire inventory without having to relist it every 7 days because, in an eBay Store, you can list items for a 30-day period for one low listing fee. There are many, many advantages to having an eBay Store. Click here for more information on eBay Stores.
Figuring out when the best time to list your items on eBay, what is the best listing duration, what category to list in, what keywords to use in your listing title and if it is really worth paying for listing upgrades, can be a real challenge. There are a few companies out there that offer ways to do better eBay Marketplace Research. Terapeak is one such company. We like Terapeak because they give their results in an easy-to-read format and make good use of graphs and other visual representation of their marketplace research results. Terapeak will tell you when the best time of day and day of week to start/end your listing for maximum profit, help you determine the best starting price for your listing, let you discover the hottest keywords to use in your listing titles, tell you what listing format is the best to use for the item you are selling and much more, all for a low monthly price.
A second company that offers the same basic service as Terapeak is HammerTap. However, they present the information in a different way. HammerTap goes into greater detail with the eBay sales information they present. They do not necessarily present the information in as nice a way as Terapeak does, but HammerTap dives deeper and tries to give you almost more information than you need.

Another key element to the branding of your company is marketing material. Marketing material includes putting your logo on any company purchase order or invoice, including some sort of marketing material in each order, email and direct mailings, and having items produced with your company logo and information on it. Zazzle offers shirts, hats, bags, cards, calendars, mugs and even postage stamps that you can personalize. They make it super simple to upload your logo and quickly design your marketing material. We definitely recommend Zazzle!
If you are going to be a serious eBay seller, you need your own Internet domain. This allows you to quickly and easily tell people where to go if they are interested in shopping in your eBay Store. A Domain is a great marketing item to include in your emails and on any printed material you provide in order shipments.
You can purchase a domain from a domain name registrar such as GoDaddy.com. GoDaddy.com is who Lizard Wisdom uses and they offer domain name registration at very affordable prices.
